Mikel has over 20 years in leadership and upper management experience in mining, with a background of counseling, both marital, personal and professional.
Spending much of his time in the non-for-profit arena, Mikel has a clear view of the personal and professional needs facing our current economic climate, giving him a solid edge for recruiting and retaining employees.
Entering the mining space gave him an even clearer view of the needs of his fellow workers in honing their craft in a safe and professional manner. With several years as a Senior Safety Director, and GM to a national company spanning coast to coast bridging over 300 employees, Mikel has a keen eye for what you need to in order to shine on a national stage. Learning from the ups and downs of managing large groups of employees in a fast growing company, Mikel has a long history of being able to replicate the desired outcomes needed to build a winning culture.
