Melanie Komasinski is an experienced Environmental Health & Safety Manager with a solid background in compliance, risk reduction, and building strong safety cultures. She leads the EHS program at Kennedy Tank & Manufacturing, working closely with teams to align safety performance with business goals.

With expertise in OSHA, EPA, air quality regulations, and data-driven program development, she drives consistent compliance and improvement across operations. Before her current role, she supported large field crews at a manufacturing and construction company, connecting safety to fast-paced, hands-on work.

Melanie is known for simplifying complex requirements and guiding teams with confidence and accountability. Her passion is employee wellness—ensuring every person goes home safe, healthy, and supported at the end of each day. She holds multiple safety certifications, including Certified Safety Professional (CSP), along with extensive OSHA credentials.

A Ball State graduate in Natural Resources – Sustainable Development, she brings a lasting commitment to environmental stewardship to every position. She also volunteers with organizations focused on conservation, community improvement, and animal welfare.
