Heat-Flex® 7000, an innovative thermal insulative coating system was recognized with the prestigious Gold Emerging Technology Award at the 2024 Global Tank Storage Awards. Designed to address the unique challenges of high-temperature steel storage tanks, this cutting-edge coating mitigates risks such as burns to personnel, vaporization losses from solar heat gain, and the formation of corrosion under insulation (CUI), which can lead to catastrophic leaks or explosions. Heat-Flex 7000 provides personal protection, solar heat reflectivity, and exceptional insulation capabilities for a wide range of industrial applications. This single-component, spray-applied coating meets Occupational Safety and Health Administration standards for protecting personnel from skin-contact burns on assets operating at temperatures up to 350°F (177°C) with one coat applied at 50 mils.
